Required is more than 50% of problems solved plus 1 or more (positive) presentation. More than 80% of problems solved = S1, less than 65 % solved = B3

Design and simulation of chirped dielectric mirrors, Lasers, beams, waveguide components (filters, couplers etc), nonlinear effects, 1d, 2d and 3d semiconductors, S-matrix (Mach Zehnder- and Sagnac interferometer), Jones-polarization formalism
